BadAss?
Bad Ass: A person who defines supreme confidence, nearly divine ability, and a frequent disregard for authority.
Hello, my name is Sarah and I founded Bad Ass Design Company to help people understand the mysterious world of color and design. I am a color use consultant and I highly recomend hiring a professional to help with color choices for your home or business. Even if you plumbed your own house and can use every piece of electronic equipment that you may own or paint for a living, don’t, repeat, do not pick colors for yourself. You, me and the guy at the coffee stand all have an image of ourselves in our heads, in most cases it is not what other people see. The sweet spot in good color design draws right from the area where both images intersect. That’s where I come in, finding your color sweet spot.
Yeah, it’s that important.
Nature is colored in a very methodical, precise fashion. How many blue foods can you name in the next 30 seconds? Along that same train of thought, do you associate the color blue with food? Probably not. Do you think that deeply while grabbing handfuls of paint chips at the DIY store?
Don’t even fib to me. I’ve been there; I know you don’t. I’ve worked all sides of the paint can; faux finisher, house painting, fine artist, teacher, student, and the girl behind the paint counter at the home improvement store who gave you advice. [My Training] The one consistent thread that ran through all of my interactions with people is that using color mystifies everyone.
